Going to Germany with ETALL

ETALL stands beside you from start to finish in your plan to reach Germany. Two routes are open to you: leaving as a student to follow university studies, or leaving as a worker for paid vocational training.

Route 1

Vocational training (as a worker)

It works rather like a paid apprenticeship: you train inside a German company and receive a wage at the end of every month. Two broad fields are open: the technical trades (mechanical engineering, catering, logistics, transport, civil engineering, plant construction and so on) and nursing. For nursing, level B2 is compulsory; for the technical trades, B2 is recommended but leaving is possible with B1. The ETALL C1 certificate is strongly advised if you want to settle in well in Germany.

How does it work?

ETALL has a team entirely devoted to taking your file in hand. You provide the documents asked for, and the school builds your candidate profile and puts it online. The team then looks for a company for you. When a company shows interest, you sit an online interview, on Zoom or Google Meet, and it is the company that makes the choice. If you are accepted, the company sets a date with you and the procedure carries on through to the visa. If you are not, the team looks for another company for you — you are never left on your own.

The fees

The fees for handling your file are set case by case, and are paid only once the visa has been granted. Plan as well for around 1,000 euros (about 650,000 FCFA) to live through your very first month in Germany, before your first training wage arrives.

Route 2

University studies (as a student)

Level B2 is likewise the minimum required. ETALL takes care of finding the school for you. For your part, you open a blocked account and pay into it the bank guarantee required for the first year of study: 11,208 euros (about 7,350,000 FCFA), paid into the account opened in Germany in the student's name. Once all the documents are together, ETALL books the consulate appointment for your visa application.
